opennebula-common software package provides empty package to create OpenNebula users and directories, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install opennebula-common
opennebula-common is installed in your system.
Make ensure the opennebula-common package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep opennebula-common *
You will get with opennebula-common package name, version, architecture and description in a table
